Fandango Reloaded is an archaeological investigation in which dance is the activator of a shared ritual experience. It is danced in a gesture of rewriting and memory, imagining what these dances are like today and what possibilities there are to bring them back to the streets.
An exploration of folk dances, speculating whether urban dances could now be what "les dansaes" (typical Valencian dances) were, a mechanism for collectivity and community. A sharing of vocabularies such as those of traditional dance and urban dances in an exercise of rematerializing memory.
